The unveiling brought together music industry stakeholders, media professionals, and fans who gathered to witness the introduction of a new voice set to join Nigeria’s contemporary music space. The event also featured performances and networking sessions designed to spotlight the artiste’s talent and stage presence.
Guests were treated to live performances and engaging moments that showcased Divine Reo’s artistry, with emphasis on her vocal delivery and storytelling approach to music.
Divine Reo described her music as deeply rooted in storytelling and emotional relatability across different life experiences.
“I make music that edifies and is relatable to everyone young or old. Wherever you are, you will definitely find value in it,” she said. “My songs reflect the phases people go through happiness, sadness, low moments and high moments. There is always something to connect with.”
Speaking at the event, co-founder of Evolution Records, Henry “Pundit” Kufre, said the label remains committed to nurturing talent without unnecessary pressure, stressing a family-oriented approach to artiste development.
“Our goal is not to put pressure on our artiste or bully her in any way. We just want the world to see her talent,” he said. “There are currently not many top female artistes in Nigeria, and we intend to change that.”
Co-founder Dike Isaac also noted that Evolution Records was built on passion rather than profit, with a focus on fairness, structure, and long-term growth for its artistes.
