Catholic priest narrates how dying grandfather confessed to r@ping his two granddaughters

A Nigerian Catholic priest has shared a story of a grandfather who confessed to his daughter that he r@ped her daughters. Fr. Evaristus Bassey took to X to write: ‘An only daughter abandoned her job to take care of her dad for more than a year. ‘The infirm elderly man thought he was going to die soon and called her to ask for her forgiveness. ‘Apparently more than ten years earlier he had r**p*d her two girls when they were barely 10 and 8. She was so shocked, disappointed and distressed that she  thought up all kinds of revenge. ‘She wished he was even strong enough to be handed over to the police! Only the fear of God stopped her. How can a granddad do that to his grandkids! She kept lamenting. ‘And then she remembered that the elder daughter had tried to say something years ago but she hadnt brought herself to think that such an abomination was possible and so didnt pay attention. Now she couldnt forgive herself.
