This viral case that made waves on twitter in 2020 during the lockdown between two medical doctors Dr Bolanle Aseyan (the accuser) and popular Social media influencer Dr Olufunmilayo Ogunsanya(the alleged accused) has now come to a conclusion.
Federal High court Judge has now found Dr Bolanle Aseyan Not Guilty of Cyber-bulling charges leveled against her, this was after she took to twitter to recount her ordeal in the hands of her ex-bf who she had allegedly dated very briefly over social media and broken up before they both decided to meet for the first time in the UK to see if they could rekindle their relationship or not. They allegedly met for the very first time in person on 7th March 2020 in Leeds Uk after a long exhausting flight, he allegedly offered her wine on her arrival at his home in Leeds where she allegedly passed out and was allegedly raped by the accused. This was allegedly followed by emotional abuse, leading to her report to the metropolitan police UK and eventually leading to the call-out and exchange of words by both exes on twitter. Dr Olufunmilayo Ogunsanya had posted that he had taken the matter to court for Cyber-bullying and the said matter has now reached a final verdict in favor of the alleged accuser with the court finding Dr Bola Aseyan NOT GUILTY of Cyberbulling/Cybercrime charges filed against her.

The police claimed Dr. Aseyan damaged the reputation of her ex-boyfriend online, in violation of the Cyberbullying Prevention and Prohibition Act.
In his judgment, the judge said that the ingredients of the charges against the female medical doctor were not provided by police as required by law.
The Judge said that evidence of threats and intimidation were not made available to the court whereas there was evidence of love between the two parties before the altercations and hostilities.‎
‎The court, however, noted that both parties, who previously shared a personal relationship, made reciprocal social media posts after their breakup.

‎The judge further said the prosecution failed to tender key evidence, including the defendant’s social media handle, and did not prove threats or intimidation as required by law. Consequently, all four charges against Dr. Aseyan were dismissed.
Other civil suit charges of defamation files both in the UK and Nigeria by Dr Olufunmilayo Ogunsanya against the accuser have also all been struck out and dismissed.
