The 2023 presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dumebi Kachikwu, has claimed that the new opposition coalition floated on the ADC platform to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election is a vehicle to realise the long-term presidential ambition of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
The ADC former flag bearer, who was a guest on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics programme, added that Labour Party’s 2023 standard bearer is now on his way out of the ADC coalition.
Kachikwu, the ADC presidential candidate in the 2023 election, came in distant fifth in the 2023 poll with 81,919 total votes.
