Subject: Complaint of Fraud by Landlord Regarding Solar Power Maintenance

Dear   To Whom it may Concern [Police Department Name],

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against my landlord, [Landlord’s Name], who I believe has committed fraud in relation to the rental property I currently occupy at [Rental Property Address].

When I signed the lease agreement on [Date of Lease Agreement], one of the key selling points was the promise of solar power included in the rental agreement. The landlord assured me that the solar power system installed at the property would significantly reduce my electricity bills and that its maintenance would be covered as part of the rental agreement.

However, since moving in, I have encountered several issues regarding the solar power system. Most concerning, [Landlord’s Name] has now informed me that I am responsible for the maintenance and repair costs of the solar power system, which is contrary to the terms we initially agreed upon.

I have attempted to resolve this issue directly with [Landlord’s Name], but despite my efforts, there has been no satisfactory resolution. I believe that I have been misled and defrauded, as the landlord’s promises were a significant factor in my decision to rent this property.

Enclosed with this letter are copies of relevant documents, including the lease agreement, any communications with [Landlord’s Name], and any other pertinent evidence that supports my claim.

I kindly request your assistance in investigating this matter and taking appropriate action to ensure that justice is served. This situation has caused me considerable stress and financial burden, and I hope for a prompt and fair resolution.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please feel free to contact me at [Your Phone Number] or [Your Email Address] if you require any further information or clarification.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]
