Professor Aisha Maikudi has been announced as the acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja, following a meeting by the university’s senate. 41-year-old Professor Maikudi succeeds Professor Abdulrasheed Naallah, the institutions sixth Vice Chancellor, whose tenure would end on June 30. The senate approved her appointment pending the selection of a substantive Vice Chancellor by the university’s governing council.
