Equatorial Guinea will play Djibouti in a friendly game as part of preparations for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire. The Guineans were initially scheduled to play the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in a friendly match but it was cancelled due to logistics reasons. The game against Djibouti will be played in Malabo on January 9th, before they will head to Ivory Coast for the AFCON.
