The district head of Sarkin Kudu town in Ibbi Local Government Area of Taraba State, Ali Hakimi has reportedly been killed by bandits. Ali Hakimi was reportedly attacked in his palace at Sarkin Kudu town at about 12.30am on Friday, December 15. An eyewitness told Daily Trust that the bandits, about 10 in number, forced themselves into the palace of the district head and shot him dead. Another source who identified himself as Bello Adamu told the publication that the deceased was the brother of the chief of Sarkin Kudu chiefdom. Adamu also disclosed that bandits had launched several attacks across the chiefdom and abducted many people.
