Nigerian musician David Adeleke aka Davido has lost his three year old son Ifeanyi.

Sources close to the family informed that the boy drowned in the swimming pool at his fathers house in Banana Island, Lagos. He was reportedly taken to Evercare Hospital in Lagos Island, where he was pronounced dead.

Confirming the incident, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Ben Hundeyin @BenHundeyin said 8 domestic staff of the duo have been brought in for questioning.

Emmanuel was reportedly sick and was admitted to LUTH. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it.

5. Aisha Falode

Ace sports broadcaster and Head, the Media Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Aisha Falode lost her only son Oloruntoba in Dubai on February 15, 2014. The 19-year-old was murdered, according to reports carried out by Dubai police.

There are indeed strange similarities between those two deaths, which makes many believe that Ifeanyi’s death was avoidable, his parents having supposedly learnt from what happened to D’banj.
