The corpses of peaceful #EndSARS protesters killed by security operatives in the Lekki Toll Gate area of Lagos today have allegedly been seized by the Nigerian Army.
Recall NaijaNews reported that security officials on Tuesday evening reportedly opened fire on peaceful protesters that overstayed the 4pm curfew declared by the Lagos State government.
It was reported that before the shooting began, the floodlights that lighted up the area went off, throwing the area into darkness.
Our source quoted one of the protesters at the scene, DJ Switch, who live-streamed the attack, to have said the bodies of those killed were now in the possession of Nigerian Army personnel.
DJ Switch was said to have also reported that the army personnel were preventing ambulances from accessing the scene to evacuate those injured to the hospital.
At the time of this report, it was learnt that over nine persons have been killed so far, while the entire place remains tensed.
