The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, has appointed Prof. Mobolaji Adewale Oludara of the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Clinical Sciences as the Acting Provost of the Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM).
The appointment, which took effect from Monday, 27th December 2021, is for a period of One (1) Year in the first instance.
Prof. Oludara joined the services of Lagos State University as a Senior Lecturer in Surgery in 2003. He served as Acting Head, Department of Surgery between 2007 and 2009. He became an Associate Professor in 2014 and a Professor in 2017. Until his latest appointment as Acting Provost, he was Dean of the Faculty of Clinical Sciences of the College.
The Vice Chancellor wishes him a successful tenure of office.
