How has the giant fallen? Who stoned the giant? As I write this, I am in Nigeria. And there is peace. I am sitting on my table trying to eat a bowl of spaghetti and fish sauce. Do I have to run? Is there a war? The early morning papers are not filled with horror stories of the giant falling. Do I need to prepare myself by cashing out some money in case I’ll need it?

You know what?

There is hope. That’s when you and me decides to do the right thing. Fight or stand against corruption and bad governance.

Many people are loosing hope, but in every situation, there is a solution. The stronger the darkness, the more efficient the light. Only a small light of change from you and me will lighten the country up.

Whatever you do, do something good, let’s do things right. Let’s stand against rigging in elections, let’s say no to this refurbished old men that keeps lieing to us. Let’s live our lives knowing one day, we will give account of everything we’ve done. It’s in our hands.

The giant has not fallen. And there is hope.

“For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease”.
The recovery of our great nation “The GIANT of Africa” is much visible now than ever, it is closer than imagined.

We are travailing and soon the night will be over.

I am happy to see that there are many optimistic people like you in Nigeria.

The headache of Nigeria is caused by those pessimistic Nigerians who thinks there is no way out of present conditions.

because they are pessimistic that is why they keep looting public fund so that they and their descendant will not suffer. They forget that “condition is not always permanent” and Heraclitus, the Greek philosopher maintained that “change is the only reality in nature”. I wish they come to their senses and realize that money is just a means but not the end.

Because they are pessimistic that is why they refer to their mother land as a fallen giant. They fail to realize that the country they dishonored is the first economy and role model in the entire African continent.

Because they are pessimistic that is why they think our mother land will never change and therefore refused to vote for those who are trying to make things right.

Like other countries, Nigeria is experiencing serious leadership hiccups. Having travelled to many countries, I can say without doubt if leadership is fixed Nigeria will compet with developed countries. We have the human capital, creative and resilient people and of course so much natural resources. I am a Nigerian pragmatist who acknowledge we have a lot problems but we are much able to overcome them.

I have just returned to the UK after working in Abuja since last August. All my Nigerian colleagues have been and continue to be engaged in work intended to improve the situation in Nigeria. However there is no ‘quick fix’ to the many challenges the country faces and COVID-19 has exacerbated the situatio

I don’t really like your answer. I’m also Nigerian but it seems that you’ve not seen much or you’re trying to save face. I’d like more concrete answers with facts… I did not download Quora for these kinds of answers. Because I know that our problems is a thousand times more than just corruption. Crime is

Then get off. You don’t have to read my answers. And you know what,i don’t have to see things the way you see them. I have never been like that and I will not start being like that because you feel I should. I am a very positive person. And also I learnt to be, because of where I’m coming from. I have ne

You nailed it Gideon. I don’t know how they want me and you to change this country when the bad leaders are not ready to hear your complains. I am 40 now and yet to see a better Nigeria.

Nigeria will get better only if the leadership and political system is overhauled. I don’t see this happening any time

Hello Osazua, the giant can only stand up if it accept it has fallen, else it will remain on the ground. Agreed, there is no war and things will get better if we all do the right thing. But is this the Nigeria we use to know and is this Nigeria we all want? Let’s work together to make the country great.

Perfect answer. You can only get better if and only if you admit that things are wrong. Bring optimistic will not solve Nigeria’s problems. We must as a matter of urgency Admit that everything bad and wrong, that we only have population yet things are bad. We had to pressure and sabotage international co

I just got back from 9ja. Such a beautiful place, beautiful people, the best food ever, but then there is the govt., The corruption,. The having to argue with somebody for everything, and The division amongst the 3 biggest tribes. Yet the people are so optimistic and resilient. I pray for 9ja, for it loo
